Pack Meals for Haiti June 16 10a-Noon 20 Greenleaf St, Quincy MA
You know how full a Red Line train can get when it’s rush hour? Imagine how many people are pressed into each car, and how many cars get pulled on the train. If you had the opportunity to give a meal to each person on that train, would you take it? This June, Restore is partnering with Lifeline Christian Mission to pack meals for hungry children in Haiti. We’re going to pack 28,000 meals, which is one-and-a-half times the hourly capacity of the Red Line. These shelf-stable meals provide temporary security and relief to children and families in need of nutritious meals. In just two hours, 100 volunteers from all over Quincy will come together to fulfill a great need. Will you get involved financially and help feed children in Haiti?
We need 100 volunteers on Saturday June 16th from 10a-12p at 20 Greenleaf St. If your schedule is full that day, you can still get involved. With such a large project we are always looking for financial partners and sponsors. Would you consider volunteering and/or donating to such a great cause?
